1. Who We Are

This website, psyloger.com, is operated by Karma Pema (Katerina Bletsch), a holistic wellness consultant and Reiki master based in Limassol, Cyprus.

2. What Data We Collect

This website collects personal data only when you submit the waitlist contact form or email us directly. The form asks for your name, email, preferred language, timezone or city, and the therapy request text you choose to provide. It sends your request to info@psyloger.com and does not create a user account.

However, we use the following analytics and behavioral tools:

Umami (cookie-free analytics)

We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool self-hosted on our own server (u.vigilcom.dev). Umami collects the following aggregated data without setting any cookies and without requiring your consent:

• Page views and referrer
• Device type and browser
• Country (aggregate, not precise location)

No personal data is collected or stored. All data remains on our own server and is never shared with third parties.

GoatCounter (cookie-free page view counting)

We use GoatCounter for lightweight, cookieless page view counting. GoatCounter is self-hosted within the EU (Hetzner, Germany), open-source, does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual users. No consent is required.

Microsoft Clarity (consent-gated)

If you accept analytics cookies, Microsoft Clarity is loaded to help us understand how visitors interact with the site through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity collects:

• Clicks, scroll depth, and mouse movements
• Page interactions and navigation patterns
• Device and browser information

Clarity uses cookies and is activated only after you give consent. Data is processed by Microsoft. See Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection)

When you submit the waitlist form, Google reCAPTCHA may process technical information about your browser and interaction with the form to help protect the site from spam and automated abuse. This check is used only for form security.

3. Cookies

This website uses cookies for analytics and behavioral tracking. Cookies are set only after you give consent via the cookie banner. Umami analytics does not use cookies at all.

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time using the button below. Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage (not an actual cookie), so clearing cookies alone will not reset it — the button below will clear the stored preference and re-display the consent banner so you can choose again.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process data based on:

• Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — Microsoft Clarity analytics cookies are only activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner
• Pre-contractual request (Article 6(1)(b)) — waitlist requests you submit so we can respond about possible future work
• Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — Umami cookie-free analytics, for understanding how visitors use our website to improve content and user experience. Umami is self-hosted, collects no personal data, sets no cookies, and stores no IP addresses. You can opt out by enabling "Do Not Track" (DNT) in your browser settings — Umami respects this signal.
• Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — Google reCAPTCHA security checks, for protecting the waitlist form from spam and automated abuse

5. Third-Party Services

This website uses or links to external services that have their own privacy policies:

• Umami — cookie-free analytics, self-hosted on our server (u.vigilcom.dev). No personal data collected, no data shared with third parties
• GoatCounter — cookie-free page view counting, self-hosted within the EU (Hetzner, Germany). Open-source, no personal data collected, no data shared with third parties

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external services. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

6. Data Transfers

Microsoft Clarity data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Microsoft participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Google reCAPTCHA data may be transferred to and processed by Google outside the European Economic Area. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Umami analytics data is stored exclusively on our own self-hosted server and is not transferred to any third party.

Waitlist form requests are delivered by Resend to the info@psyloger.com inbox.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As an EU/EEA resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — request a copy of data held about you
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
• Right to restrict processing — limit how we use your data
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Right to object — object to data processing based on legitimate interest
• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw cookie consent at any time

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).

8. Data Retention

Microsoft Clarity data is retained in accordance with Microsoft's retention policies. Umami analytics data is stored on our own server indefinitely in aggregate form (no personal data). Waitlist request emails are retained only as long as needed to respond and manage the request, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Cookie consent preferences are stored locally in your browser for 1 year.

9. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through this site, please contact us.

10. Data Protection Officer

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer as we do not engage in large-scale processing of special categories of data (Art. 37(1) GDPR).

11. Obligation to Provide Data

Providing your personal data is not a statutory or contractual requirement. You are not obligated to provide personal data.

12. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling as defined in Art. 22 GDPR.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
