Psychology and self-work form the therapeutic foundation of my healing practice. Over more than 50 therapy sessions since 2017, combined with training in metaphorical associative cards (MAC), somatic approaches, and trauma-informed methods, I've developed a practical understanding of how inner child wounds, relationship patterns, and body-held tension interconnect. My approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic frameworks with experiential tools — MAC for bypassing cognitive defenses, somatic awareness for releasing body-stored trauma, and structured inner child work for healing early attachment wounds. This section documents my personal therapeutic journey alongside techniques I use with clients.

What is inner child work?
Inner child work is a therapeutic approach that addresses unmet needs and unresolved wounds from childhood. In my practice, I work with inner child parts through visualization, dialogue, and metaphorical cards to help clients reconnect with and heal their younger selves. This is grounded in attachment theory and parts-based therapy models.
How do metaphorical cards work in therapy?
Metaphorical associative cards (MAC) are image-based therapeutic tools that bypass cognitive defenses to access unconscious material. The client selects or is given cards and projects their inner state onto the images. In my experience with OH Cards and other decks, this method reveals patterns and emotions that verbal therapy alone may miss.
What is somatic psychology?
Somatic psychology recognizes that the body stores emotional experiences and trauma. Through body awareness, breathwork, and movement, somatic approaches help release physical tension that corresponds to psychological patterns. In my practice, I combine somatic awareness with energy work for a holistic approach.
How do you set healthy boundaries in relationships?
Setting boundaries starts with recognizing your own needs and limits. In my therapeutic journey, I've learned that boundaries are not walls but communication tools. The work often involves healing inner child wounds that made boundaries feel unsafe, then practicing clear, compassionate communication.
How long does therapy take to show results?
In my experience with over 50 sessions of personal therapy, meaningful shifts can happen within weeks, but deep pattern change takes months to years. Therapy is not a quick fix but an investment in understanding yourself. Integration periods between breakthroughs are normal and valuable.
